Residential/Light Commercial

Common Applications

  • Electrical power generation
  • Grid tie (tie into power grid and sell back excess)
  • Off grid (store power in your own battery bank for immediate usage or as back-up power)

    Benefits

  • Provides direct savings on electricity
  • Lowers carbon footprint

    Technology Summary

Wind turbines consist of a rotor system which is attached to an alternator.

This unit is mounted on top of a stand high enough to prevent objects from disturbing the wind being harvested.  The power generated is then sent to a charge controller and system meter which can be tied into the electrical grid or sent to a battery bank.

The battery bank can be used for instant power as a back-up.  In the right location wind generators can be an efficient way to generate clean power.
